Syteline Production Planner/Scheduler

Overview of Position

The Syteline Production Planner/Scheduler will utilize knowledge and experience with ERP to administer and further develop our planning and scheduling operations. This role will report to the Information Technology VP. The role will identify and propose new planning and scheduling processes or program changes to meet business requirements.

• Has experience and a deep understanding of Syteline’s inventory control, material planning and manufacturing

• Excellent verbal and written communication

• Ability to collaborate with multiple user groups of all levels when maximizing the ERP products capabilities

• 3 + years’ experience preferred

General Job Responsibilities

• Assist in developing the Infor Cloud Suite Industrial (SyteLine) Planning & Scheduling system supporting the business unit

• Daily order review and update of all production-related dates in SyteLine including Due Dates, Job Release Dates, and Planning BOM’s for Configured products

• Provides daily/weekly production dispatch list to plant supervisors

• Drives planning & scheduling process improvement efforts under guidance of Vice President of IT. Works with Production Manager and Production Planner to coordinate production plans and release dates

• Monitors and adjusts schedules for late job orders and other designated KPIs

• Maintains production targets and plans through reporting and communication with Sales and plant supervisors.

• Assists with the weekly production meeting presentations

• Collaborates with designated plant representatives and Sales to manage plant inventories and target levels

• Maintain and automate key tasks to ensure SyteLine Planning & Scheduling is running optimally

• Provide training as needed for Planning and Scheduling
