Overview of Position

Harper Industries, Inc. is seeking a responsible and charismatic individual to fulfill the Sales Support Representative role. This position will report to the Vice President of Sales and will play a vital role in supporting all sales procedures. The ideal candidate finds fulfillment through assisting others and working in a team environment.


• Bachelor’s degree or relevant sales or industry experience

• Effective written and verbal communication skills, as well as listening skills

• Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs

• Knowledge of sales practices and the most efficient customer service techniques

• Ability to pay strong attention to detail

• Limited travel may be required from time to time

General Job Responsibilities

• Assist sales teams with dealer support and order entry

• Reliable key contact within each sales divisions

• Responsive and competent phone and email etiquette

• Thorough and efficient at compiling product quotes, freight estimates and order entry

• Troubleshoot challenges with customer orders, customer accounts and other related issues

• Ability to comprehend and articulate technical details to configure products

• Provide customer service by staying on top of pending orders and customer requests, and tracking production outputs

• Act as a liaison across multiple divisions and departments as a point person for ongoing activity • Aids sales management with administrative responsibilities (processing submissions, product prioritization, etc.)

• Manages used equipment inventory and promotes offerings internally and across the dealer network

• Perform other duties as assigned
