Overview of Position

The Industrial Engineering Manager is a member of our leadership team, responsible for designing, developing, testing, and evaluating integrated systems for managing industrial production processes, including human work factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics and material flow, cost analysis, and production coordination.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Industrial Engineer Leader or related experience

• Management experience with required aspirations for leadership, collaboration, continuous improvements, offering expertise and knowledge as an Industrial Engineer

• Proven experience improving quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery with clear KPI’s for the role

• Bachelor’s degree in related field, or a minimum of 10 years of proven experience

• Demonstrated success working across multifaceted departments

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

• Excellent working knowledge of 3D CAD Modeling Programs

• Technical background

General Job Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technical professionals with scopes including industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, systems, operations research, material flow, factory space utilization and more.

• Drive operations efficiency improvements across multiple departments.

• Design and lead capital expenditure purchases and factory layout projects.

• Guide and lead the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.

• Review production schedules, engineering specifications, orders, and related information to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures, and activities.

• Develop and manage production and design standards.

• Improve utilization of personnel, material, methods and utilities – minimizing waste.

• Ensure currency of engineering drawings and documentation of production problems.

• Evaluate precision and accuracy of production and testing equipment and engineering drawings to formulate corrective action plan.

• Ensure manufacturing issues are taken to root cause and a proper solution is implemented.

• Assist the management team in our pursuit of applying proven operational excellence system principles without bureaucracy, striving to get better every day – together.
