Customer Service Technician

Overview of Position

Harper Industries, Inc. has an immediate, full-time opening for Customer Service Technician. Provide field service leadership for each of the Harper product lines, ensuring that the parts and service needs of our customers are met. Create and maintain a positive relationship with our dealers and fellow employees by providing excellent customer service for all of our customers.

Qualifications

• Passion for good customer service

• Mechanical aptitude with mechanical experience

• Post- secondary education and/or appropriate experience

• Excellent communication skills

• Positive attitude

• Willingness to learn service software

• Required computer usage skills include Microsoft Word and Excel

• Posses the ability to work alone or as a team member

• Service technology background is preferred; agriculture experience is a plus

General Job Responsibilities

Specific Duties:
• Troubleshoot technical problems over the phone for Harper products

• Process call-in orders for Harper Industries

• Assist in processing warranty claims for Harper products

• Plan and present product training sessions for service personnel

• Work with engineering as needed to develop, refine, and present dealer training material

• Communicate information to the proper personnel throughout the company

• Perform other duties as assigned

Travel:

• Travel as required to maintain the product line

• Travel may be for service, training, or problem solving

• May be heavier at certain times of the year, averaging five - six days a month

Position open: Immediately

Beginning Salary: Salary based on experience -40 to 45- hour work week

Bonus: OT approved by Supervisor
